This piece is very special to me. It is a view of a very busy market place in an old tram shed in the heart of Bath. Every weekend we would gather from 5.30am in the morning. Every stall holder busy setting up their wares. Bath is renowned for it's antique heritage. The composition encompasses most of the elements in this tableaux. The original painting was executed in Acrylic on rice paper. The size is 2 metres wide by 500mm high. It is currently exhibited in Old Town in Swindon at my friend Stuart Rowe the Sony Video / Audio expert. I sketched the atmosphere plein-air over a period of one month.
